CD in Play: None, I can't get the stereo to work.
I fucking hate technology. It is 6:49 am and not only can I not get the stereo to work, but the University of Saskatchewan online registration system has apparently crashed. My friend Trent is technology junkie. My Dad is a typical modernist in his love for the new and fascination with that magic box - the computer. Me? There are times I'd rather do it the old fashioned way and registering for classes is one of them.
Give me fallible humans any day. I'd rather be at the school right now registering for classes than sitting here churning away because the system keeps going down. I should have been done by now, but instead I am waiting for some IT person to arrive on campus and realise, "Oh, hey? We have a problem." As for the stereo, who the hell knows? It should be playing right now, but it won't.

Finally managed to register - 45 minutes later than I was scheduled. There was massive system update happening. Anyhow, I will be taking Geology: Earth Processes and a Printmaking (lithography, silkscreening, etc) course.
Technology junkie? Not hardly. Macophile? Maybe.
Of course, my junkie leanings are limited by no budget to buy new stuff. I don't know what I would do with access to an unlimited amount of cash.
You're taking two courses? You moved 2000 km for two courses? Seems a little thin.
I need to work for a year to pay down student loans some more, so I can actually take them out again and finish up. Cost of living is still cheaper here than in the Lower mainland, despite the housing crunch.
However, those two courses are key.

The thing is - EVERY year during general registration PAWS goes down. Or they do updates in the middle of it...cuz...you know, noone *really* wants to go to classes anyways :)
