It is May the 8th of May, 2009. I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and it bloody well snowed overnight here. It snowed, in bloody MAY!!! Now I like the snow and I do like winter, but this is just unsettling.

You crap us not?
And to think, in movie-release-date terms, the summer already began one week ago.
I remember taking a holiday in
Hadmonchuk in the early 70's.
It snowed in early July!!! Yes!!
I said, "and THIS is our summer
holiday!"
Yo Mama
What about my Mama? Huh? You got someth' tuh say `bout my Mama?
Yeah Mum, I know it was you.
It snowed again pretty much from 9am to around 2pm. It didn't stick, but it is chilly out there. Weird. Little Ice Age Redux.
But I thought you *liked* snow?
Hmmmm?
:P
Oh, I like snow, but I do worry about bees and growing seasons, food shortages, etc. BTW, been looking into kale and it will grow in Saskatchewan - it will grow just about anywhere. Chard will also grow in cold climates.
My Mum grew chard all the time...easy to grow here.
It can snow here all the way up until June...we just try not to think about it.
