Snow is Good for the Soul

CD in Play: Fugazi, In on the Kill Taker

It is April 2nd and it is snowing outside. Heavily. Saturday was cold and sunny. I loved it. Sunday was cold and sunny in North Delta andfrigid and stormy in East Vancouver. Hail, sleet and icy wind. I loved it. Today in Surrey it is cold and snowing. I am grinning from ear to ear. Heat lovers have had it pretty good the last little while, make 2007 a year for people like me. Here's to a long cold year, may it neever rise above 18º C.

You are a sick man.

It's -20 out here...I have reached my fill of coldness for the year. Somehow with most of the snow gone it feels even colder! This has been the longest coldest winter I can recall.

Bring on the spring!

I keep my house at 76 Fahrenheit. And I dread when the weather goes below 50.

I could seriously do the snow-bird thing of fleeing to Florida every January for four months.

Hah! After I left your blog, I went onto the next click on my daily blog hit-list called "Martians Attacking Indianapolis" (blogger's name is Josh Massey) and found THIS entry:

Yes I am. It isn't that I don't want to see Spring sprung at some point in time, I just hope it is a cool one. I hope summer never gets above 23 at the most. I hate the heat.

I'm with you, Magnus.

I mean, Montreal is too cold for too many months, like Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Edmonton is. But Montreal springs and falls and the odd "Indian summer" are really wonderful.

Taiwan weather is just like Vancouver weather, except with more rain, more mold, and more humidity, and too much goddamn heat in the summer. But then you and I would both hate living in Thailand for that very reason. L.A. in spring, winter, and fall is mild, just like you would like it.

Actually, from the descriptions I have had, the weather in the UK and Ireland would suite me just fine. As would Norway and Iceland.
